Really good ramen, smooth and not too fatty or salty.Tomato ramen available for vegetarians/vegans. The grilled eggplant is delicious, get extra. The restaurant is very small, bar seating for about 10 people only.

Tomato is good base for pasta. But it's shouldn't be only for Pasta, in Ramen it was awsome too.

Great small ramen store with their special ramen being eggplant and tomato ramen. Great price and great location opposite the Hamamachi Shopping arcade. Highly Recommend !

Visited twice, lunch and dinner service. I would say it's the best ramen shop in Nagasaki, so good that we visited it twice. The tomato soup based ramen was the best, rich broth and the noodles are top quality. Very busy in both lunch and dinner service so expect to wait a while but we'll worth the wait.

This place makes a very good tomato ramen. There is eggplant inside. The eggplant is pan-fried. It's so good that I order a side of eggplant.ã¨ã¦ã‚‚ãŠã„ã—ã„â—

Yes tomato 🅠ramen. It’s a thing, and it’s good. Regular ramen also very good but tomato style with hot sauce wins for me.

After checking in at the nearby First Cabin, it was already 22:30 and I had an empty stomach. I bumped into this ramen store as it was still open. Service was good, price cheap and noodles tasted rich, except the portion was a little small in my special circumstances!

Very nice Service and very delicious Tomato Ramen. If you are in Nagasaki, you have to home here and taste it!

Awesome Ramen and open so late!

Everyone that I've met in Nagasaki urged me to give the tomato ramen at Hiiragi a shot, so I had to try it before leaving the city. The store, which is located centrally in the bustling Dozamachi area and modest in terms of size, was packed well past 4 am on Saturday. As for the taste: neither eggplant nor tomato are ingredients that I usually associate with ramen, but I was surprised by how good the combination was. I won't exchange my hakata tonkotsu ramen for a tomato ramen yet, but this is the dish that I enjoyed the most in Nagasaki, more so than the champon and sala-udon that the city is famous for.

Best ramen EVER! I’m a foodie and die hard ramen lover. When I gave up pork I had to be creative and looked for alternatives and THIS by far is the best I’ve had! I had the tomato based soup with grilled eggplant and OMG! I’m such a changed person! The flavors just beautifully compliment each other and the noodles had just the right bite. I’m staying just a night in Nagasaki and I’m seriously thinking of going back there for the ramen before going home to Manila. I would fly back to japan just for this. Trust me— it’s the best! Go do it!

If you’re looking for a guilt-free ramen fix this might just be the place for you. Their tomato based ramen is flavorful and topped with nicely grilled eggplant slices and other greens ðŸœðŸ†ðŸ¥¢Ordering is made cool and easy with their vending machine. Insert money first then press away for your desired dish, then hand over your stub to the shopkeeper. The place only fits 12 people so if you’re a big group you might have to wait a while. Note to tourists (like myself): if the place is full and people are waiting in line, it’s best to snap your photos real quick as a courtesy✌ðŸ¼

When I first time taste the tomato ramen in Nagasaki Japan. I wanted to eat it once every week.

We chanced upon this place while hungry and looking for late lunch. So lucky to have found this little corner shop, the noodles were so tasty and the soup base rich yet well balanced, not overly salty like some ramen soups, unforgettable!

Cane back to Nagasaki after a year, and had to re-visit this place. The Tomato Ramen is amazing, and secretly half the reason I wanted to come back to Nagasaki! Haven’t found anything quite like it yet.

Best soup in Nagasaki

Yep, this is ramen you need to have. Had the sichuan? Or spicy ramen and it was amazing. Thick soup, great taste and at a very reasonable price. Noodles were exactly the texture I wanted (medium hardness and med/large thickness)The veggie ramen is also very highly rated (eggplant).I would make this a must have.

This is the Ramen that changed my mind about ramen. She said "this is hands down one of the best meals I've ever had in my life"...

Top ramen in Japan!

The tomato ramen with eggplant was incredible. Savory, thick soup with delicious pieces of eggplant and spices. Only paid about ¥800 for one of the most unique and tasty bowls of ramen I’ve ever had.

Excellent ramen. Light and less salty than some. Very tasty!

Slightly unusual ordering system from machine. Put money in first then press buttons, get paper slips to hand to staff & get change. We needed some help & one of staff was very helpful with smattering of English.Went on a Sunday evening & no Q.Had tomato ramen with egg-plant & soft boiled egg. Noodles just come medium cooked. Totally excellent and all as reported.Only seats for 12 people. Delightful

Tomato ramen was a delicious vegetarian meal! My omnivore husband got the pork ramen and enjoyed it as well. It was great to find a place we could both eat a wonderful meal. The ordering was a bit confusing at first but easy once we learned how to use the kiosk.

I'm not keen on ramen but this was delicious. There's an English menu, and you can choose from tomato and spicy Sichuan bases amongst others.

The tomato ramen was pretty good. Shop is kindof small and busy.

Super delicious!!! You must try tomato noodle!

The only place I know of that sells tomato ramen - they serve it with grilled eggplant which is so good that we always order extra; we visit every time we are in Nagasaki. The clam rice and gyoza are really good too.

Okay, I was tired, walked half a mile and waited 20 minutes outside in the cold for a seat....Best Ramen I have ever had. That tomato based ramen is whats up. I killed it. Very small place. You may have to wait but if you are in the area and have time make sure to visit. The staff was very friendly as I didn't know what the hell was going on. They have an English menu.
